Document To Markdown

beta

Convert office documents, EPUB, CSV, and text-based PDFs to Markdown locally.

Documents stay in your browser and are not uploaded or stored by this site.

Beta. Conversion runs locally in a dedicated browser worker. The document is not uploaded, and the converter loads only after you choose a file. AnyDoc output is returned unchanged, without formatting or preview.

No document selected.

Supported formats and limitations

  • Encrypted, password-protected, damaged, or unusually complex documents may fail.
  • Embedded images and exact page layout are not exported to Markdown.
  • Markdown is returned directly by AnyDoc. This tool does not restructure, format, or render the result.
  • Verify spreadsheet percentages, currencies, and other display-formatted numbers against the original.

Conversion uses AnyDoc (MIT License).
